In order to implement the requirements of the "Regulations on the Protection of Ancient Tea Tree Resources in Pu'er City" and the "Action Plan for Zhenyuan County Poverty Alleviation, Consolidation and Improvement in Comprehensively Building a Well-off Society", and to promote the resumption of work and production of tea enterprises while preventing and controlling the epidemic, Tianba Township, Zhenyuan Yi Hani Lahu Autonomous County, Pu'er City has adopted six major measures to support the "healthy conservation umbrella" for the ancient tea trees in the old sea pond, so as to achieve equal emphasis on protection and development. A local ancient tea tree census team was formed to conduct a thorough statistics on the existing old seaside tea in five villages: there are more than 5,000 acres of old seaside tea, including 1,600 acres in the core area of ​​​​the old seaside in Waqiao Village. There are 600 acres of cultivated ancient tea trees, which are more than 300 years old. There are 2,799 ancient tea trees with a diameter of more than 13 centimeters, the smaller diameter is 13-14 centimeters, and the largest diameter is 50 centimeters. There are more than 900 ancient tea trees with a diameter of more than 13 centimeters in the three surrounding groups.
